The US and UK have amended their inter-governmental agreement for implementation of the US Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) in the UK.

The status of deemed-compliant UK financial institutions has now been extended to sponsored investment entities, sponsored and controlled foreign corporations, and sponsored closely held investment vehicles.
