Administrative measures to be implemented in China on 1 November 2024 will require foreign-invested entities to file their beneficial ownership information through the People's Bank of China business registration system. Enterprises registered before that date will be granted a one-year grace period,

but those registered after 1 November will have to file reports within 30 days of their registration. State agencies, financial institutions and specific non-financial institutions will have access to the information through the bank when performing anti-money laundering checks.
